Today, we went to the Brooklyn Children's Museum. It was much different than the one in Long Island, which was more for older kids. This museum was better for my age group and (18 mths and up). I got to play in a sandbox without the sand - it was filled with cork instead. Mommy was happy that it didn't stick to me or get in my eyes. They also had a mini supermarket where I could practice shopping, and easels located if different places throughout where I could draw whatever I wanted. Afterwards, I hopped on a Vespa to go for a spin, and then hung out in the indoor play space. On our way back, we stopped at a local Brooklyn playground to try out the equipment - I give it my seal of approval!

Gymboree - Bayside
We checked out a new Gymboree location this morning to see if it was any better than the one in our neighborhood. While it was a little bigger, the equipment was pretty much the same. I still had a great time though!

Gymboree - in my 'hood'
Mommy and Daddy took me back to Gymboree today so I could run around and burn off some energy! They changed the equipment around a little since the last time I was there, so it was almost like going to a different place!

Times Square
Tonight we hung out in Times Square since the weather was a little warm and we wanted to enjoy some fresh air. Daddy really surprised mommy when he posted a sign on the Hershey's billboard in Times Square! We have a big candy bar souvenir to remember the moment, as well as the picture that we took with our own camera - see below.

My First Kiss
This evening, I really surprised mommy and daddy when I gave each of them a kiss on the cheek! They taught me a while back, but as I said in an earlier post, I can't reveal all of my talents all at once. ;-) I think I can now make it through Europe just fine!

Another New Word!
This evening, mommy found a bottle of bubbles and started blowing them around the apartment. Not only did I learn a new word today 'bubbles', but I also learned how to blow bubbles! I still need some practice, but I'm sure to pick it up real quick! Yay, bubbles!

New Words!
This past week, I decided that I would surprise mommy and daddy and let them know I understand more than they think I do by saying a few new words. I don't want to say everything all at once since I get so much attention when I say something new, so I've gotta space it out a little bit ya know? But, I now say 'doggie' when I see a dog or, just when I feel like saying 'doggie' - I like how the word rolls off my tongue! I've also started to repeat some words when I hear or see them or when it is pointed out to me such as 'apple', 'baby', and 'ball'. And, I really surprised mommy the other day when I looked inside an open package and said 'all gone'. Oh, and I also can say 'I know' of course!
My new Japanese word is 'oiishi' (pronounced: oh-ee-she). I say this when I eat something yummy. In English, I also say 'good' or 'num num' when I eat something that I like. My other Japanese word is 'An pan', short for the cartoon character 'Anpanman'.

Kidville - East 84th Street
Today, I went to my very first Valentine's Day party ever! I got to do all of my favorite things in one place - jump around in the gym, listen to live music by the Little Maestros, and make some arts and crafts! I also sampled some gourmet baby food, which I'm hoping mommy and daddy will order for me - it's called Din Dins and everything is all organic. We also had our picture taken by a professional photographer, but those are on a different website right now.

Scandinavia House - Midtown
Today, me and my friend Juliana went to check out a new play space. It was called Scandinavia House and it's located in The Nordic Center. There were two different play rooms. They had lots of blocks and legos and stuff, which kept us busy for a while!
Love Wanwan
Daddy showed me how to draw my favorite character "Wan Wan" on the iPad the other day - isn't he so artistic?!

Gymboree - Forest Hills
Mommy and daddy took me to 'open play' at Gymboree in our neighborhood today. I had lots of fun bouncing around and climbing on everything. I think I've improved alot since I was there last time - now I know how to use all of the equipment. I hope I can go there again real soon!
Wonder Woman
I heard that Wonder Woman was Auntie Anne's favorite superhero when she was little so I decided to pose next to her - I seen her shopping at Macy's. Auntie Anne is like a modern day wonder woman so I think she made a good choice! It seems that MAC cosmetics also like's Wonder Woman - they now have a whole line of makeup in her name.

Chocolate Pudding
It was rainy and cold today so we couldn't go outside, so mommy thought I would enjoy making some chocolate pudding. I very much enjoyed this activity, and I also liked sampling the final product! Afterwards, I even got to help clean up - mommy thinks that I won't enjoy this activity so much as I get older though.
